On September 12, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed an order according to which the Ministry of Finance can enter into a settlement agreement with Exxon on a $ 637 million suit.

In turn, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov signed on behalf of Russia an amicable agreement with ExxonMobil's daughter Exxon Neftegas Limited on the tax dispute for the Sakhalin-1 project, a Finance Ministry spokesman said. The terms of the world remain confidential.
