In 2017 Russia can supply to Belarus at least 24 million tons of oil
On April 13 Russia and Belarus signed a package of documents on resolving disagreements in the oil and gas sector according to which Moscow was to restore annual oil supplies in the amount of 24 million tons from 2017 to 2024.
Russia can also increase supplies from 2021. Minsk clear arrears to PJSC Gazprom in the amount of $ 726.2 million for the Russian gas supplies in 2016-2017, which was a condition for the new agreements to enter into force.
According to Alexander Novak, the Minister of Energy, the Russian Federation will soon develop a proposal on the mandatory use of the Russian transport infrastructure by Belorussian producers of oil products while transshiping goods. The RF President Vladimir Putin instructed to bind the Belorussian refineries to use Russian seaports when exporting oil products. Meanwhile, according to experts, the Belorussian producers of oil products may lose up to $ 150 million with the reorientation of their exports from the Baltic sea terminals to that of Russia.
