The XIII International Judo Tournament in memory of Hussein Isayev was started with the PromInTech Plant support as the general sponsor of the tournament.
The tournament was organized by PromInTech Plant (a member of JSC Siberian Industrial Group), the Ministry of the Chechen Republic for Physical Education and Sport, the Regional Public Foundation named after the Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov and the Otechestvo Sport Judo Club.
The program of the opening ceremony included bright events, in which Chechen stars, dance ensembles of the Chechen Republic and creative teams from other regions of the Russian Federation performed. Also the opening ceremony was attended by Albert Malsagov, CEO of PromIntech Plant, Sergey Reutov, the Chairman of the Directors Board of JSC SIG, Magomed Kadyrov, the President of the Federation of Weightlifting of the Chechen Republic, Khasmagomed Khizriyev, Minister of the Chechen Republic on Physical Education and Sports, Amruddi Edelgeriyev, the Chairman of the Committee of the Government of the Chechen Republic for Tourism, Abuzaid Vismuradov, the President of the Akhmat fight club, as well as titled judoists - Bashir Varayev, the four-time European champion, World Cup holder, Khasan Halmurzayev, the champion of the Olympic games of 2016 in the category of up to 81 kg and Beslan Mudranov, the Olympic champion in 2016 in Rio, world champions medalist, Europe and Russia champion in judo.
The tournament is held in the "Olympijsk" sports complex, athletes from 27 regions of Russia and 13 foreign countries will take part in it. Fights will be held during two days. Athletes compete in seven weight classes: 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100 and over 100 kg. Winners in each weight class will receive medals, cups and valuable prizes. Eli Isaev, Deputy Head of the Federal Treasury thanked the establishment of the Republic for organizing such a great tournament and handed a memorable prize to Ramzan Kadyrov, the Head of Chechnya. Khasmagomed Khizriyev, the Ministry of the Chechen Republic for Physical Education and Sport expressed his gratitude to the head of Chechnya for the attention and support which Ramzan Kadyrov provides to the development of sports in the region. Special words were addressed to the Regional Public Foundation named after the Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov and the Otechestvo Sport Judo Club named by Khusejn Isaev, as well as the gratitude was expressed to PromInTech Plant for the high-level organization of the tournament.
